Our Vision, Values, and Beliefs
Brought to life in 1997, the Osceola Council on Aging implemented the Housing Management team as a means of equipping housing arrangements for individuals with limited financial resources. Designed to develop and manage apartment communities, Housing Management currently operates five separate communities, along with their neighborhood stabilization and house sharing programs. We understand the needs of Osceola County residents and the benefits of long term housing, therefore we strive daily to enrich the lives of our many residents, and allow them to thrive in the community around them.
The Osceola Council on Aging Housing Management offers several different styles of living configurations, each differing in funding source and income requirements. We currently operate HUD Rent Assisted Housing, HOME, NSP, along with Tax Credit properties. Although each property is slightly different, each boasts a welcoming environment that promotes a family atmosphere between residents and Housing Management staff. Whether celebrating a holiday or a resident game of bingo, each property maintains an ongoing calendar of events for residents to enjoy.
Our properties are all currently on demand. Although each property has a wait list, Kissimmee properties sport a longer wait and a higher premium than our St. Cloud residences. New construction is in the planning stages to bring seniors affordable housing in the Buena Ventura Lakes community. To secure your spot for any of our properties, join our wait list today.
Our housing communities seek to develop an active and healthy environment in our living facilities, while still maintaining an affordable price structure. Our communities offer:
