Buen Vecino Senior Living Community is a newly developed affordable housing community for adults aged 62 and older, located in Osceola County, Florida.

Created to provide safe, stable, and accessible housing for seniors, Buen Vecino is designed to support independent living while helping residents remain connected to community services, transportation, and local resources. The community reflects a commitment to dignity, affordability, and quality of life for older adults across Osceola County.

Designed specifically for seniors, Buen Vecino offers a welcoming environment with features that support aging in place and everyday comfort. Residents will benefit from accessible apartment layouts, community-focused living spaces, and convenient access to nearby services and amenities. The development is intended to provide long-term housing stability for income-qualified seniors while fostering a sense of connection and community.

Pre-Applications & Eligibility

The online pre-application process for Buen Vecino Senior Living Community opens June 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pre-applications will be accepted online only through osceolagenerations.org and will be placed on the waiting list in the order received. Supporting documents are not required at the pre-application stage.

Buen Vecino is intended for adults aged 62 and older. Rent is based on approximately 30% of household income under HUD guidelines, and applicants must meet income eligibility requirements. Current income limits shown for 2026 include:

• 1-Person Household: $40,250 Annual Income
• 2-Person Household: $46,000 Annual Income

Application Assistance

To help seniors complete the online pre-application, assistance hubs with computers and tablets will be available throughout Osceola County on June 12, 2026. Staff and volunteers will be available to assist applicants with the online process at multiple locations, including the Osceola Council on Aging main office, Housing & Community Services, and participating library locations throughout the county.
