Current Employment Opportunities:

1 . In-Home CNA (Part-Time)::  BE THE KEY TO OUR WONDERFUL CLIENTS THROUGH HELPING THEM TO REMAIN HAPPY AND HEALTHY IN THEIR OWN HOMES! WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR CNA'S TO WORK PRIMARILY WEEKENDS ALONG WITH TWO (2) ADDITIONAL CNA'S TO WORK IN THE POINCIANA AREA AND TWO (2) IN THE KISSIMMEE/ST CLOUD AREA.

 

2 . Driver (Part-Time):  This position is responsible for transporting clients as assigned.  Requires knowledge of the county and the ability to understand and assist our clients.  Must hold a CDL with P endorsement and have a clean driving record.  

 

 3 . In-Home Services LPN Evaluator (Part-Time): Responsible for conducting Initial home visits for all VA Clients. Must have a good understanding of the needs of the frail elderly client and how to effectively communicate, keeping in mind the various needs, cultures and personalities. Florida LPN licensure is required.

 

4.  Meals on Wheels Driver Coordinator (Part-Time):  Responsible for the coordination of the volunteer drivers for Home Delivered Meals Program in their area.  Essential functions; deliver MOW route(s), as needed, coordinate MOW meal drop-off sites, maintain MOW route arrangements, and conduct community outreach as needed or requested. 

 

5.  Adult Daycare Support LPN (Full-Time):  General purpose is to assist with providing therapeutic, social, and health activities to adults who have functional impairments, in a protective enviroment that provides as non-institutional an environment as possible. Essential functions; evaluate the particular needs of each client, supervision of nursing aides for patient care and treatments, assist client with maintaining optimal functioning, and assist the Recreational Activities Coordinator with activities.  Must be a RN/LPN with High School Diploma or GED.  Ability to read and write, carry out written and verbal instructions and complete required reports   

 

6. Emergency Assistance Specialist (Full-Time):  Responsible for obtaining, verifying, and evaluating information from applicants and recipients regarding initial and continuing eligibility of LIHEAP and/or Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) service program.  Maintain files as required.  

 

7. Transportation Assistant (Full-Time):   Responsible for providing assistance for the Transportation Department to include clerical duties & coordinating all scheduling requests for transportation.
